Alice’s Take

This place was a treat. The vibe was just right—not too dark, not too loud. I loved everything we ordered. The pasta sauce was total bread-dipping material, the cheese pizza was creamy and comforting, and the Cajun fries came with dips that packed flavor. I’d go back in a heartbeat—same order, and then some.

Bob’s Bite

Mavi’s exceeded our expectations. The cheese pizza was particularly well made, with a creamy, milky cheese that paired perfectly with the tomato sauce. The beef sausage pasta was served with a beautifully crafted pomodoro sauce that was gentle on the palate. The cajun fries, while standard, were cooked to perfection.

This pizza spot is a rebranding of Anthony Francos Pizzeria & Ristorante. Our initial initial review was disappointing, so we visited twice to ensure it wasn’t an anomaly. We were thoroughly disappointed second time around.

Alice’s Take

The pizza slices were ok – both on the dryer side. I generally enjoyed the empanadas, but I won’t intentionally go back to this place.

Bob’s Bite

The food was an absolute disappointment. We found the chicken empanadas and sicilian slices to be dry and the cheese slices barely received a passing grade. The only silver lining were the beef empanadas which were nice and easy on the palette.
